About the Park

The Park is an important green space for the residents of Halewood as it provides a countryside experience without having to travel great distances. The Park offers a number of recreational facilities such as the extensive bridleway network, the Trans Pennine Trail long distance cycleway that runs through the site and a number of ponds.

Halewood Park  provides opportunities for a family picnic, quiet walks and a place to experience nature at first hand. The site is a valuable educational resource for local schools and colleges, and the Site Ranger delivers many environmental education sessions and public events for local groups throughout the year.
